REAL ITN co-hosts practice based video training for scientists 8-13 May 2017, deadline for applications 10 April 2017
Together with the French Institute for Research in Africa (IFRA) and the French Embassy in Nairobi, REAL is hosting a training session on how to produce scientific movies. In collaboration with the Africa Digital Media Institute in Nairobi, we offer students, researchers and professionals a practice based video training dedicated to editing and post-production. The training is scheduled to take place at the Creative Media and Technology Training Institute in Nairobi from 8 to 13 May. Deadline for applications is 10 April.
Please find more information on the training and on how to apply on IFRA’s website, a downloadable version here, and a poster of the event here.
The upcoming training session will be the second one organized by REAL, IFRA and the French Embassy. In 2015, the first group of students was trained for a week in the first steps of making a movie. You can learn more about it here.
